A mother of two energetic boys I qualified as a nutritional therapist in 2011 with a BSc in Nutritional Medicine from West London University. I am passionate about providing realistic and tailored nutritional advice for adults and children in order to bring about change in yourself or your child.
It’s essential that the programmes I provide are realistically obtainable by you so recommendations are always a collaborative process. For example, if a child loves breakfast but is very fussy at other mealtimes, I work with what can be added to optimize this mealtime. If an extremely busy client doesn’t have time to cook, I will put together a programme with quick meal ideas and shopping lists for healthy convenience foods. If a mother is finding it hard to lose weight I will work with her to create healthy food options for all the family (ones they won’t notice!) as research shows that losing weight is easier if all the family are eating healthier options. I have a monthly nutrition slot on BBC Sussex, talking about the medicinal qualities of food.
My clinic is at the Dolphin House Charity, Brighton as well as Northlands Wood GP Medical Practice in Haywards Heath. I also run corporate events through my work with Nuffield Health.
I am registered with the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), as well as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
